LIVE BALL (GROUP PLAY)
Live Ball, or as I like to call it, 'Defenders of the Hill', is a social and fun way to play Pickleball. Enjoy a continuous 2 hour play with a small break halfway through. Coach Bryce feeds players the ball, calls faults and helps to mix players up. Play, laugh and sweat. Learn more below!

Goal:
There are 2 teams when you're on the court playing, the Defenders (D) and the Challengers (C). Defenders stay on until they lose, Challengers try to win 3 consecutive game points to beat the Defenders and take their place.
The 3 Types of Points Needed:
There are 3 sets of points the Challengers (C) must win in a row to become the Defenders (D).

(C) Starts at baseline and (D) starts at the Kitchen. (C) Receives a normal shot.

Both (C) and (D) start at Kitchen. (C) Receives a dink to random player.

(C) Starts at Kitchen and (D) starts at baseline. (C) Receives a lob shot.
Player Mixing:
Some teams will be stronger than others while others will be weaker. To keep things interesting, there will be a random mixing people in line every 15 minutes. You may lose your spot in line, but points are quick and everyone has to do this.
How to Become a Defender:
Two random players join the court as the Challengers at the baseline. Defenders start at the Kitchen. The Challengers must win 3 consecutive points to knock the Defenders out.
What types of shots can you do:
All Live Balls have their own twist, but in this one, Coach Bryce doesn't make you hit specific shots, such as a drive only or drop only. When the ball is fed, you play out a normal point as if you were in a normal game.
End:
The Defenders get to play the most in a lot of cases as they are trying to defend their honor. With that being said, they have a huge target on their heads from the other players as they want to play more. This game is fun and a great way to practice your play while chatting with others.
